Rang NFT today to confirm my free ticket to Ray Davies' Film choice. The person who answered  the call - 'um..missed her name' - asked for my membership number and said "Oh, Bob Cottrell, how are you doing?" I've no idea who this was and I am now very worried.

Maybe it was the Fuller's, maybe it was the constant bloody Mobile Phone Cameras being thrust in the air - I was near the Front - maybe it was just a looser concert, maybe it was my current lack of employment, maybe I'm just a grumpy old bastard, but DBT were not as wonderful as the Brighton Gig.
That's a qualitative..Umm.. statement. They were still bloody good - wot a noise they produce. And..apologies to the guy from Ipswich I was drunkenly rambling to - fuck knows what I was talking about ('Americana' anyone?). Financial constraints have cut down my alcohol consumption since I finished work and it only takes a few pints to get me going these days.

Drive-by-Truckers at Shepherds Bush today. I was at that Brighton Gig. Best concert I've been to in years. Didn't ask to see him naked. Wasn't drunk enough. Maybe tonight..
